Buddy Time

We also we met our Buddy Class today. We spent some time getting to know each other and our big buddies read us a story. We look forward to lots of fun with Room 7 this year.

Discovery Time

We joined Room Ten today for discovery time to make handprint fish tanks, flowers and we even got to play with some foam. Lots of fun was had by everyone. Thanks Room Ten for having us!

Obstacle Course

Today we had a go at an obstacle course. It was so much fun! We had to jump in hoops, crawl under chairs, hop around cones, balance across the beams, roll on the mat, throw a beanbag into a hoop and then walk across the ladders.

Rolling

We have been learning lots of skills at foundation skills to help us with our learning. Today we practiced rolling. We have to make sure our legs stay together and our hands stay glued to our ears. This is a good thing to practice at home!!!!

On a Chair

We have been reading a big book called "On a Chair" this week. Today we acted it out together with Room 10. Connor was a great monkey and played his part very well!

A very busy Friday!

We have had a very busy day today. Our letter of the week this week was 'i'. We started the day with an Insect Hunt in the Wilderness Area. We found spiders, slaters and lots of cicada shells. We decorated Mrs Hildred's top with the cicada shells.

Then we made Indian headbands and ice-cream using frozen bananas. It was so yummy!

Mrs Ousey and Mrs Hildred got lots of things out for us at Discovery time. Our favourite things to play with was the ice and instruments. Mrs Hildred made some big ice blocks and put some special jewels that we had to get out.  What a FUN day!!!
